Tucked away in a beautiful river front setting just minutes off the main highway, is a quaint hidden 💎 gem called – Fergie’s Café in Squamish BC. There are a number of excellent and healthy dining choices to choose from in this adventure playground region of 🌲 British Columbia, 🍁 Canada and dining at Fergie’s, is certainly one of them!
Just an hour’s drive up the beautiful 🛣 Sea to Sky Highway from the City of Vancouver and alongside picturesque {Howe Sound}, you will reach British Columbia’s Adventure Playground – surrounding the Towns of Squamish and Brackendale.
This area is world famous for; 🧗 Rock Climbing, 🌊 white water rafting, 🥾 hiking and so much more, making this is the perfect destination for the outdoor enthusiast!
Along with this, there are some excellent restaurants to choose from, offering; freshly made home grown quality meals, prepared with locally grown ingredients.
Fergie’s Cafe is definitely one of the local favorites in the region!

Fergies Cafe Is Much More Than Just A Cafe
Years ago, this property was a very popular 🐟 fishing destination, and was known as {Fergie’s Lodge} at the time. The property is situated alongside the Cheakamus River, which feeds into the – Squamish River.
In fact, the owners mentioned to me that famous Hollywood actor {Charlton Heston} frequented the lodge, having a love of 🎣 fishing.
Fishermen from all parts once stayed at this lodge. They came to fish for; 🐟 Salmon, Steelhead and Char.
Today, the present owners offer beautifully renovated cabins available to rent along the river. As well, you can book white water rafting adventures and of course, casual dining at their restaurant.
Drive Or Ride In For Breakfast & Lunch At Fergies
There’s plenty of room to drive or even ride in on 🐎 horseback. The lovely surrounding grounds come complete with hitching post!
You can enjoy your meal on the deck or in the grassy area alongside on the many picnic tables provided. This is a wonderful picnic like atmosphere that the entire family will enjoy!
Fergie’s is 🐶 Pet Friendly as well! 🙂
We had plenty of room for parking our 🚌 25 ft. Class C Motor home on their property. If you have a larger unit, there is room to park alongside the main road just out front.
Fergies Cafe Squamish BC is Open Daily
Presently the restaurant is open every day typically from 8 am to 3 pm for breakfast and lunch. The menu is limited, but all healthy choices and freshly prepared with local ingredients.
Below is a sample of what we had for lunch during our visit, giving you a look at just what to expect when dining at this lovely establishment in the country.
Salmon Burger
My wife selected the fresh house smoked salmon burger, served with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, bacon with tartar sauce all in a freshly baked bun.
Fresh side salad is served on the side making for the perfect healthy choice for lunch!
Dubliner Benny
I just had to select their unique Dubliner Eggs Benny. Fresh farm eggs served with caramelized onions, apple, bacon, and hollandaise topped with Dubliner cheddar all on their homemade buttermilk biscuit.
The Dubliner is also served with delicious house smoked hash potatoes.
Delicious!
We had a wonderful meal in a perfect setting served fresh by their friendly staff. The owners have done an amazing job of bringing this 5 acre riverside property back to life.
With cabins that are beautifully appointed and rafting adventures that are second to none, Fergie’s is the perfect place for you and your family!

We always enjoy traveling to and 🏕 camping in this part of the Province. It’s a perfect destination for you and your family to enjoy.
Beautifully Restored Historic Loggers Cabin
The property owners painstakingly restored this lovely original cabin for you to rent, along with their additional river front cabins.
They are all beautifully appointed and that one would definitely not expect to see in your typical fishing type cabin rentals.

🏔 Squamish – Hardwired for Adventure
After suffering a most unfortunate fire to the restaurant a few seasons ago, I am pleased to announce they have re-opened. The new restaurant looks amazing and we can’t wait to return for another visit and great meal!
