They do allow overnight โ›บ camping in the Canyon. Permissions are on a pre-sale basis, which means you have to buy them in advance and you can make reservations online.

Grand Canyon Arizona

Hiking is recommended for experienced hikers and remote campers only. Summers are extremely hot, especially in July and August down in the Canyon.
