From incredible flumes of water off tropical cliffs, to gentle falls along the sides of glaciers, there is something remarkable about the waterfalls here in the States, that makes them worth the chase.

Considering some important factors such as; approachability, beauty, landscape and longevity, here are the 🌊 10 Best Waterfalls in the United States, definitely worth seeing!

The Horseshoe Falls is the uppermost waterfall while the other two waterfalls are on the downside of the river.

There are a number of things you can do while visiting Niagara Falls.

You can easily access Yosemite Falls, by taking a one-mile round trip that carries you to the bottom of Lower Yosemite Falls. 🚶 Walking down this path gives you a splendid view of 🌊 Upper Yosemite Falls as it pours into – 🌊 Lower Yosemite Falls.

If you wish to reach the top of 🌊 Upper Yosemite Falls, there is a 🥾 hike of about 7.2 miles, including the return. We recommend only doing Yosemite Hike if your are used to hiking. Lower Yosemite Falls on the contrary, has a two-mile round trip hike that takes you to the top and is much easier to 🚶 walk.

On the way to Sahalie Falls, you can also visit 🌊 Koosah Falls. It pours about 70 feet into a pool, and although it may be less scenic than Sahalie, it is still worth experiencing.

This waterfall runs through the Cumberland River in Southeastern Kentucky. People searching for this waterfall may also see it named; 🏞 Cumberland Falls State Resort Park.

The Cumberland Falls total height is 69 feet and the width is 125 feet. About 3600 cubic feet of water gushes from the waterfall every second, creating a breathtaking sight and formidable roar!

Cumberland falls also offers you a stunning 🥾 hiking area of 17 miles, that goes through the 🏞 State Park. If you love hiking, Northern Kentucky has some spectacular trails you must explore as well.

Tahquamenon Falls – Michigan State

Tahquamenon falls consists of 50,000 acres and can be covered in 13 miles. The major part of this area is under development with woodlands. There is little in the means of accommodations, as it is mainly kept in a natural state, with no buildings, roads and powerlines.

This is the largest 🌊 waterfall park in; East Mississippi.

The flow of water for this particular waterfall is about 50,000 gallons per second. The specialty of this park, is the view that can be seen from neighboring islands via a 🛥 boat ride. When you reach these areas through the boat, you can enjoy the wonderful and magnificent beauty of the entire waterfall.

You can also 🏕 camp in this park, with assistance from the camp services.

Michigan State Park Track Chair

Tahquamenon’s track chair service also helps the visitors with disabilities, to explore more of this park. Elders may still find this area to be difficult to navigate.

“Track chairs are off-road, electronic chairs can easily handle trails, snow, sand and even up to 8 inches of water, allowing users to explore areas of the parks that traditional wheelchairs might not reach.”

If you plan to take a trip to 🌊 Havasu Falls, it is recommended to plan well in advance, due to the long 🥾 hike and to be able to stay overnight, to truly enjoy your visit. From Havasupai, it’s 10 miles of hiking to reach your final destination.

The Havasupai Nations occupy Havasu Falls and other nearby waterfalls and you need permission to be in the area by means of 🎟 permission tickets.

They do allow overnight ⛺ camping in the Canyon. Permissions are on a pre-sale basis, which means you have to buy them in advance and you can make reservations online.

Grand Canyon Arizona

Hiking is recommended for experienced hikers and remote campers only. Summers are extremely hot, especially in July and August down in the Canyon.
