Prawn Garden Tradition Continues On
The 🦐 Prawn Garden opened its doors back in 1961 and continues today, to be one of the most successful dining establishments found anywhere in British Columbia.
For those involved in the restaurant business, and know that most close their doors within 2 years, this is an amazing accomplishment!
It is only done with serving exceptionally good food and at affordable prices, that keep customers returning year after year, as we have done.
I am proud to feature the 🦐 Prawn Garden here on my travel blog, and was thrilled when approached by the owners to have the opportunity to do so.

Endless Menu At Prawn Garden
The menu selections for both dine in and take out ordering is enormous!
Select your dishes individually, or choose from well thought out and very popular combination selections. The Prawn Garden has introduced {Gluten Free Choices} to their menu, as well as a choice of; no additional MSG additive on request.
The Gluten Free Menu is an exciting addition, and one that will surely be expanded on as popularity grows.
Their menu is vast and I simply cannot list everything here in this post. The restaurant has an excellent website that I will list below for your convenience, showing a detailed menu with photos and much more.
I will however, give you a sample of what we enjoyed for our last family take out order below. Just to give you a touch of what you can expect, if you choose to order take out.
Special Family Dinner Combinations
For our last family gathering we selected the popular {Combination Dinner for Six}, along with 2 extra side dishes including; Special Foo Yung and my favorite … Kung Po Chicken (Spicy).

A delicious dinner with more than enough to eat for 7 of us!
As a matter of fact, my wife and I enjoyed two extra left over meals the following day. Prawn Gardens selections are huge, never skimping on plate servings and leaving plenty for all to enjoy, including left overs!
As you can see, the food is delicious and plentiful!
In all the years we have enjoyed dining at this restaurant, we have never been disappointed. Our guests continually comment and question; where we order our take out from.
So, if you are heading to the city to enjoy a weekend race event at 🏁 Mission Raceway, or passing through on your way to the lake resort of {Harrison Hot Springs} for example, then do make a point of enjoying a dinner at the 🦐 Prawn Garden.
There’s excellent sit down dining in a comfortable and casual atmosphere, or enjoy hot take out and free delivery within the city limits, six days a week.
