Oceanside RV Resort – Location
The Parks location is simply ideal, for those visiting the south end of Vancouver Island.

Terminal at Swartz Bay.
This vehicle and passenger ferry is your connection to; Vancouver on the mainland and Vancouver Island.
It’s a 1 ½ hour sailing and the scenery along the way, is to die for!
If you are crossing with your 🚍 recreational vehicle and especially during the; high season (May thru September), reservations are strongly recommended, well in advance.
Oceanside RV Resort – Amenities
Oceanside offers a choice of long term seasonal sites and overnight voyageur campsites. Both are extra spacious, in length and width.
This park offers {69 voyageur sites} from which to choose from.
Park Amenities and RV Sites Feature;

✔ Water;
✔ Sewer;
✔ Sparkling clean washroom/shower facilities;
✔ Laundry room;
✔ Cable Television (may purchase from area provider for seasonal use);
✔ Pull-through sites available;
✔ Picnic table;
✔ Wi-fi (for light usage);
✔ Cookhouse Building with Barbeque, Television, Ping Pong Table.
Note:
Although we rarely watch television when away from home, I was curious and raised my TV antenna. I was able to receive 12 channels with no problems whatsoever, all with very clear reception.
Oceanside RV Resort – Pet Friendly
Yes, your 🐕 pet is most welcome at this resort, with typical park rules enforced. There are some great places to walk, with or without your pet.
You have direct beach access located just a couple of minutes walk behind you. There are also designated areas inside the park, for your dog to do its business.
Located along the main beach path, you will join up with; Island View Beach Regional Park.
This is another superb beach and oceanside walking path for you to enjoy during your stay!

From Oceanside Resort, it’s a comfortable 20 minute drive south on the main highway, to the city limits.
City Of Sidney – British Columbia
You simply must visit the Town of Sidney, just to the north of the park. Take the oceanside road and you will come to a beautiful 2.5 kilometer 🚶 seaside walk and promenade, that eventually leads into the heart of the city.
This is something definitely not to be missed during your stay!
At the waterfront edge and right downtown, you’ll find numerous local shops, restaurants and much more.
The views from the shores of the {Salish Sea} and beyond, are spectacular!

We enjoyed a wonderful 5 night stay at Oceanside RV Resort. The overall park facilities, cleanliness and peaceful surroundings, made this a great choice.
It’s ideally located as mentioned, to most all of south Vancouver Island’s popular sites. You’re just minutes away, from most major tourist attractions in the region.
What we also enjoyed was the peace and quiet, you will experience at this seaside resort. You are just a couple of minutes off the main highway, yet there is no traffic noise whatsoever, when you reach the park.
Our evenings were peaceful and very quiet!
