A Review Of The Worthington Oceanside Resort and Spa
After arriving at ✈ Halifax Stanfield International Airport in Nova Scotia, 🍁 Canada a few seasons ago, we hopped in our rental car and made our way out of town for a stay at the …
🌺 Worthington Oceanside Resort and Spa
Built on the water’s edge in the very small community of Musquodoboit Harbour, this was a beautiful and luxurious resort, and was definitely a hidden 💎 gem in Nova Scotia.
Situated on over thirty acres of land with more than 1000 feet of waterfront access to the beautiful – Musquodoboit Harbour.
A Look At Our Stay In Worthington’s King Suite

Our travel plans immediately after landing in Halifax, was to first make our way to the famous Cabot Trail. This resort seemed like a perfect choice for our first nights stay.

Arriving in the early evening, Worthington Oceanside Resort is an easy 45 minute drive or approximately 60 km from the airport.

After arriving and entering the main entrance way, we were warmly greeted by the resorts host, and given a tour of the resort and facilities.
We were then taken to our beautiful King Suite.

This very large and luxurious suite comes with a private ensuite bathroom, along with a full view of the beautiful grounds and Bay view just a few steps away.
You couldn’t ask for anything more in luxury guest room accommodations in a residential resort, as this.

There was a common indoor patio area, directly in front of the view windows of our room to the ocean. This however, did not obstruct the beautiful view the room had to offer.

The lights did stay on in the patio area until later in the evening. We found that the room could use some thicker drapes to block out the light, and also add a little more privacy in the evening hours.

The outdoor guest hot tub was also located just outside the corner of this suite, and just a few feet away from the corner window of the bedroom area. We did have our window open while guests were using the hot tub, but as soon as we closed the window, all was good.
Queen Suites and Tiny House

In addition to the King suite, guests had a choice of rooms equipped with a queen bed and private bath. Equally beautifully decorated and with all the comforts one would expect in a luxury resort as this.
Tiny House
For guests looking for total privacy, they also offered a luxury cottage on the resorts property. It came equipped with a full bath, private outdoor jacuzzi and a large open living room, with full kitchen.
The tiny house was totally private from the main resort and had its own separate entrance.
Steam Room & Sauna

There was also a steam room and sauna inside the resort itself, for guests to enjoy during their stay. This, in addition to the main outdoor hot tub.
Everything you could ask for when looking for a luxurious and relaxing stay!
If that’s enough, you could join their outdoor yoga with 🙏 Chakra Yoga, or book an appointment at the 🪔 Spa Källa.

This was a perfect health & wellness oceanfront resort location in a peaceful serene setting. Martinique Beach, the longest white sand beach in Nova Scotia, was just minutes away from from the resort.
Breakfast Was Included With Your Stay

All guests were treated to a full breakfast in the morning, prepared by the resorts host.
Coffee and tea were always available day and night in the kitchen, as well. There was also a cocktail bar that guests were welcome to enjoy on an honorary system, at any time.

We were greeted by our friendly host in the morning and our breakfast started with coffee/ tea and juice. Yogurt with fresh berries and a tea biscuit followed.

Following this, french toast was served straight from the stove and as much as you would like. A nice way to start the morning!

We had wonderful short stay at 🏡 Worthington Oceanside, arriving in the early evening and having to be on our way shortly after breakfast. The resort and surrounding grounds were beautiful, along with the stunning view of the Bay.
We only wish we could have spent more time enjoying this beautiful part of Nova Scotia!

It appears at this time, the resort may have been sold or discontinued as a luxury B&B. I’m unable to confirm whether they are still in operation. I would recommend checking with the Nova Scotia Tourism office for more updated travel information.
I’m sure they can recommend other B&B’s nearby, for you to enjoy during your travels.

I have included the ⚓ Official Nova Scotia Tourism website link for your convenience. It’s filled with everything you need in planning your vacation to beautiful Nova Scotia, Canada.
