A Look At Our Old Montréal Food Tour

Tour Guide Local Montreal Food Tours

Our outstanding guide (Isabelle) met us and others taking this tour, at the pre-arranged meeting point and time.

After a brief introduction, we started the tour right inside this beautiful refurbished Historic Bank in Old Montreal.

Crew Collective & Café

Crew Collective & Café

Inside this beautiful building, we started right off with an amazing classic Montréal bagel topped with smoked salmon, at a very popular local cafe.

The cafe is located right where the bank tellers and main public banking area used to be years ago.

This tour will have you passing by Old Montréal’s most prominent sights including; Place d’Armes, the Old Port and St. Paul Street.

Cookie Stéfanie Bakery

This is a gluten-free bakery and we sampled their signature carrot cake. Just one of the many other delicious items they had on display for sale here.

The carrot cake was an excellent tasty gluten free treat!

Time for a little upper scale class, as we make our way to one of Old Montreal’s favorite restaurants. Here we enjoyed sampling some amazing – French onion soup.

French Onion Soup

This was definitely my favorite tasting on the tour, as I absolutely love French onion soup, paired with red or white wine of your choice.

It doesn’t get any better than this!

Delicious!

As we continue on our way, Isabelle was continually enlightening the group on Montréal’s culture and its history.

She would stop at various locations and historic sites, as we continued on to our next tasting.

As we walked along the historic streets of Old Montreal, it was on to our fifth and final stop on the tour. Our last stop was to a quaint Brewpub in the city.

Montreal Poutine

Here, we sampled some of their home brewed craft beer, along with a Montreal favorite. Poutine is a dish that includes french fries and cheese curds topped with a brown gravy.

Craft Beer

You simply can’t come to Montreal and not try Poutine at least once! 🙂
