and they seemed to enjoy having me photograph them as well. 🙂

I spent about an hour just enjoying watching them put on a show for me in the late afternoon. The gentle breeze coming off the lake was so refreshing, after touring the city in the 🥵 heat of the day!

Kids Swimming In Lake Pichola – Udaipur, India

I arrived in Udaipur after having spent almost 3 hectic weeks of traveling in India. Before arriving in Udaipur, we had been visiting some very busy cities throughout; Rajasthan.

These included; New Delhi, Agra, Jaisalmer and Jaipur.

It was so nice to catch a breath of 🌬 fresh air (literally) arriving at the lake in Udaipur.

Lake Pichola, is also located in the state of Rajasthan. The main attraction is this artificial freshwater lake, which was created back in 1362 AD. It received its name from a Picholi village, close by.

This beautiful 🎨 picturesque lake draws visitors from all over the 🗺 world. It is also a very popular destination for Indian residents, as well.

This is a major destination for the rich and famous, where very expensive weddings are held. Lavish weddings are held at the renowned; 🏰 Taj Lake Palace.

This is where the older popular James Bond 🎥 movie (Octopussy) was filmed years ago.

There are a number of historic sites and attractions to visit in Udaipur. Some of which include;

The City Palace, Monsoon Palace, Badi Lake, Rani Road, Gangaur Ghat, Ambrai Ghat.

I had a wonderful relaxing stay in this city, before continuing my journey south into Goa.
