Casual Fine Dining Restaurant In Jasper, Alberta
My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Cassios on our visit to Jasper a few seasons ago, and what a fabulous meal it was. It definitely was the best dining experience we had, while on our travels throughout the Province’s of British Columbia and Alberta.
What a special treat to have the opportunity to enjoy such fine casual dining on our journey!
Located directly in the heart of downtown Jasper and right across the street from the town’s; heritage 🚂 train station, the restaurant is ideally located with easy access and parking.
Your Host Anna At Cassios In Jasper Alberta
Once you step into the dining room, it’s easy to tell that our hosts during our visit; Anna and Mike, have devoted a labor of love and devotion into their restaurant. The décor and setting is simply beautiful, certainly well above the standards of your normal; casual dining establishment.
Anna explained that their chefs prepare {Real Italian Cuisine} with true distinct flavors, derived from old family recipes obtained over the years.
Your host Mike Cassios parents, were the original owners of the restaurant, back to the 1930’s, in Ontario, Canada. Their mouth-watering recipes go back to the early days, when the restaurant employed; Italian Immigrant Staff, that brought their hidden secrets overseas to the … 🍁 New Country.
Today, their traditional dishes still live on at the New Cassios, here in Jasper. All their dishes on the menu are prepared with fresh and locally grown ingredients, wherever possible.
Cassios Extensive Menu & Wine List
The menu is just too large to mention, but includes choices that surely will please most everyone!
Choose from a delicious selection of appetizers including; antipasti, soups, salads and more.
The main dinner options, offer a wide variety of specialty; pasta dishes, steak, chicken and fish to choose from.
There are also daily specials and during our visit, they offered a special; Mother’s Day weekend menu.
The 🍇 wine list is extensive, with your choice of red and white world renowned wines, served by the bottle or glass.

The entire menu looked absolutely delicious and as this being a special occasion, we decided on the choices from their unique; Mother’s Day menu.

Mozzarella Garlic Loaf
What a great starter and well worth leaving room for before enjoying your main course.
Served hot and melt in your mouth delicious!
Taigliatelle with Shrimp
This was an excellent choice, with outstanding egg pasta and large jumbo shrimp!
Salmon Oscar
My wife selected the Salmon Oscar from the special menu. A tender salmon filet, blue crab, fresh asparagus, hollandaise sauce, linguine.
Another amazing dish served with to perfection!
A great deal of devotion is taken in serving such fine dishes, in what your hosts refer to as; a casual restaurant. The menu and servings are nothing less, than what you would expect at a premier fine dining restaurant, but at a fraction of the cost.
It was a special treat to discover and dine at this wonderful establishment, while in the; 🏔 Canadian Rocky Mountains!
Special Dessert – Cannoli
This special dessert came highly recommended from their special occasion menu and although, completely satisfied from our main course, we opted to share.
It was truly unique, delicious and definitely has you wanting more!
Dine At Cassios For A Delightful Culinary Experience
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Cassios and it’s no wonder that they have receive the; Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence Award and many other accolades, over the years.
The service is excellent, meals are outstanding and the prices are very reasonable, for this quality of dining.
