Who doesn’t love a parade of Classic Cars & Hot Rods. For car enthusiasts, there are a number of 🚗 Classic Car Shows On Vancouver Island in Beautiful British Columbia 🍁 Canada each and every year!
Most of these events kick off on Father’s Day in Canada in the month of June.

It’s a fun filled Father’s Day weekend event, where spectators can come and view their {Show ‘n Shine} and much more in downtown Qualicum Beach.
In fact the Sunday Show ‘n Shine events are so popular they were actually mentioned on the – Oprah Winfrey television show.
It was said to be one of the “10 Best Things To Do On Father’s Day!”
We always look forward to their Friday Night – Cruise Night Drive By Parade.
This is where the proud owners of these beautiful cars and trucks cruise down the streets of Parksville and neighboring Qualicum Beach.
Locals like ourselves, pick a favorite spot on the parade route and watch them drive by!

This parade of autos took at least 45 minutes for all them to drive by. I wish I had a counter to keep track of just how many there were.

Heritage Park In Mission BC Annual Show & Shine
For many years now, the City of Mission British Columbia has also held an annual car show and shine on Father’s Day.
This event has gotten so big, there are usually over 1,000 cars, trucks, motorcycles and boats on display each season.
We used to live in the City for years and always looked forward to viewing these classics!

This was just a sample of the many beautiful classic automobiles that did their drive by parade for us locals on Father’s Day Weekend back in 2019.
This weekend event seems to get bigger each and every year, and is something both towns look forward to hosting annually!
The 2023 {Seaside Cruisers Show & Shine} will be held on June 16-18 – Celebrating their 30th anniversary!
