Port Alberni, British Columbia On Vancouver Island
For those making their way to world famous 🏄 Tofino, also located on Vancouver Island, the City of Port Alberni is situated off 🛣 Highway 4 directly on the way.
If you’re looking for a unique place to stay, with some wonderful attractions for the family to enjoy, then I certainly recommend spending some time in this city.
There’s 🥾 hiking, 🐟 fishing, wind surfing and so much more for outdoor enthusiasts.

Port Alberni Port Authority And China Creek Campground
The campground and 🛥 marina are controlled by The Port Alberni Port Authority. They offer a full service marina and boat launches, together with a unique and diverse; full facility campground.
Situated along Alberni Inlet, the campground offers stunning views, complete with ocean front campsites to choose from. Enjoy the beautiful view and outstanding 🌅 sunsets!
Getting to China Creek
Note:
Reaching the campground and marina at the time of our visit a few seasons ago, included approximately; 5.8 kilometers of gravel road. The road is very wide and the largest of Recreational Vehicles with tows, will have no problem.
The road is rough, so take it slow and yield to working 🌲 forestry vehicles sharing the road. Do check with the China Creek for more updated road information.
China Creek Campground & Marina Facilities
The campground is quite unique, giving the camper the option of choosing; open oceanfront camping, more rustic 🌲 treed park like campsites, as well as wide open spaces for;🔌 full hookups and longer term camping.
With 250 dry, partial or full hookup sites to choose from, there’s bound to be the perfect spot, for you and your family.

The property has full 🚻 washrooms, 🚿 shower and laundry facilities. There’s also a 🧒 children’s playground and large open grassed section to enjoy.

This is a very popular area and park, particularly among 🎣 fishing enthusiasts.
Depending on the site required and time of year visiting, reservations are recommended.
Full Hookup Open Spaces
You can select from a number of ⛺ campsites surrounding this beautifully treed park like setting. I am certain you will find that perfect site just for you and your family!

Note
China Creek Marina & Campground is open from April 1 – Sept 30.
As well, they now offer accommodations on site, including: Cabanas, Oceanfront Cabins, and/or The Guesthouse. There’s also treed tent sites available in the park to choose from.
