Mountain View RV Park Just Minutes From Downtown Calgary

No wonder this park has been a favorite among visitors both locally and of those traveling in their 🚌 rental recreational vehicles arriving from abroad.

This is a family owned and operated campground, opening its doors back in 1987. Their property goes back a few generations prior to it becoming a; public camping facility.

The owner’s goal has always been to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction, while offering modern up to date facilities to the traveling public.

You will certainly find everything you need in a top notch RV Park here at 🏔 Mountain View.

A Woodall’s ⭐ 4 star rated facility, they offer;

✔ Full Hook up Pull Thru sites with up to 50 amp service

✔ Excellent Wi-Fi throughout the park

If your stay is during the summer months, I do suggest making reservations well beforehand, do to the parks popularity and location.

They have lots of summer activities planned at the park, for the whole family to enjoy as well!

Mountain View RV Park Pet Restrictions

This is a 🐶 pet friendly park however, there is a maximum 2 pets per unit and no dogs over {22Kg/ 50Lbs} are allowed. Your pet of course, must be on leash at all times and droppings must be picked up.

World Famous Calgary Stampede

The 🐎 Calgary Stampede is the city’s biggest event of the year and with that, Mountain View campground is at their busiest, during this ten day major event. In speaking with the owners, they have folks booking up to 3 years in advance, in order to confirm a campsite during this time.

This is because they are one of the Premier Parks ideally located for Camping Near Calgary.

So, if your travel plans include the 🐎 Stampede and you are traveling in a 🚍 recreational vehicle, then I highly recommend you; ☎ call well in advance for reservations!

A great feature is the handy 🚌 shuttle service from the campground to the fairgrounds, during the 10 days the Stampede is running.

So there’s no need to worry about driving or parking during that time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the park in early May a few seasons ago and were able to get around Calgary’s main tourist attractions, easily and conveniently. We hope to return one day soon to experience the 🌎 World Famous Calgary Stampede!

Can I make reservations online on their website?

No, but you can contact them directly by phone and/or email.

When is Check-In and Check-Out time?

Check In is 1:00pm & Check Out is 11:00am.

Do you have a shuttle for the Stampede?

Yes, shuttle service runs to/from the Calgary Stampede grounds for $15 per person each way, with 2 departure/return times daily, plus an extra morning departure on Parade Day.

Does the park allow pets?

Dogs and cats are permitted in the park at a surcharge of $2 per day per dog, $1 per day per cat. Each RV to have 2 animals maximum.

Are there tent sites at this park?

No, all sites are serviced for Recreational Vehicles only.

Is propane available at the park?

Yes, propane is available on site for purchase.
