What I really liked about {Big Bus} in Hong Kong, was the variety of tour packages to choose from. Depending on how much time you have, you can decide what sites and attractions you would like, to include in your tour and that suits your personal budget, as well.
There’s sure to be a package deal just right for you. 😎
Big Bus Tours had 3 excellent 🎫 ticket options to choose from, during my visit. Each option, offering distinct attractions and excursions.
Star Ferry Terminal
The 🎫 Classic ticket offers a 24 hour Hop-On Hop-Off package, which includes; ⛴ Star Ferry tickets.
You have a choice of the; 🚡 Peak Tram SkyPass or Sky100.
As well, this ticket includes a fun {Sampan} boat tour.
For those with one day only, this is the perfect way to see the sites of the city, along with a couple of popular attractions.
Big Bus Sampan Boat Tour
If you have a little more time in the city, you have the option of their full day; Premium or Deluxe packages. The Premium ticket includes all offered in the Classic package, with an extra day, to ride the sightseeing bus.
For a few dollars more with the 🎫 Deluxe ticket, you receive passes for a; full hour ⛴ Star Ferry Harbour Tour, along with a 🚌 Night Bus Tour included.
Sampan Boat Tour Sites
Other options are available for increased savings, on many other major attractions and excursions. So there’s no need to book with any other tour company, while visiting the city.
Big Bus can offer attractive savings, for a number of excellent tour packages. My {Deluxe ticket} was just perfect for me!
This option, is one I would highly recommend for those that have 2 or more full days available, to tour the city. I chose the 🚡 Peak Tram SkyPass which was included and the view at the top of the city, was absolutely amazing!
The tram ride up the hill was also quite a unique experience!
Star Ferry Harbour Boat Tour
The ⛴ Star Ferry Harbour Tour was also a great way to see the sites of the Victoria harbour. It’s also a chance for you to sit back and relax for an hour, in their comfortable air conditioned lounge onboard.
Or there’s seating outside, on the viewing decks.

Bus Routes
Big Bus Tour Route Map
There are 3 distinct 🎨 color coded bus routes to choose. These three routes are designed to cover a large part of the city, stopping at many of the cities; major attractions and sites.
Red Tour
This is a full tour around Hong Kong Island taking in many of the very popular sites. This tour without stopping, will take you 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete.
Hong Kong Island Waterfront
Green Tour
This tour also departs from Hong Kong Island and also covers a large area, heading out along the coastline, to a very popular area known as … Stanley.
It also will take at least 1 hour and 30 minutes to cover, if you choose not to {Hop On/Hop Off} the bus.
Hong Kong Beaches
Blue Tour
This tour is called the {Kowloon tour} and leaves from the mainland side near the waterfront, in Tsim Sha Tsui district. You will also need at least 1 hour and 15 minutes to cover this route, without getting off.
Kowloon District
For those with a 🎫 Deluxe package, you also have a ticket for the; 🚍 Night Bus Tour, taking in the beautiful sites and neon lights of the 🌆 city, after dark.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 days riding with Big Bus Tours, visiting many interesting sites and attractions in Hong Kong.

Hop/On Hop/Off Bus In Hong Kong
I found the buses very clean and on schedule, even with the hectic traffic in the city. A few extras include; audio earphones for the tour, rain ponchos if needed and buses have free 📶 wi-fi on board.
