is among one of the finest in BC. This Park is definitely not to be missed when visiting the central part, of Vancouver Island.
Running alongside π Englishman River, this park is situated next to a; spectacular canyon, with 2 amazing π waterfalls cascading down.
Directions To Englishman River Falls Provincial Park
Englishman River Falls is located just 13 kilometers from the π City of Parksville.
Follow Errington Road, just off of π£ Highway #4, which is between, Parksville and the small community of; Coombs. Itβs easy to find and π£ Provincial Park direction signs are posted on the highways,
as are all the Parks, in the Province.
Park Amenities
Thereβs a large day-use area and provincial π campground at this 97-hectare park. Easy π₯Ύ hiking trails run throughout the old growth picturesque π³ forest, running alongside the river bank.
π² Cedar, arbutus, fir, maple and hemlock old growth trees are situated throughout, the Park and along the Englishman River itself.
There are 3 kilometers of maintained π₯Ύ trails, that wind through this majestic; old growth and second growth π² forested park.
Expect amazing views on your hike, especially when you cross two pedestrian only bridges, that span over the river. The short hike to the π lower falls ends up at a deep, cold water pool area.
This is perfect for a summer dip!
During the months of π Fall, the lower FallsΒ offer a perfect view point, for observing the π Spawning Salmon.
Camping At Englishman River Falls
At last count, the campground has a total of 103 sites. There are pit toilets and drinking water facilities for campers. The βΊ non-serviced sites are all forested, providing an intimate nature experience.
π Campsite reservations are accepted and there are also designated; first-come first-serve sites as well. Reservations can be made at the π BC Parks website, Iβve listed below.
If you plan on βΊ camping at the Park, advance reservations are highly recommended, especially during the peak season (May-September).

Nearby attractions also include {Cathedral Grove}, located in; π MacMillan Provincial Park. π
This is also a *Must Visit* Provincial Park, on this part of the island. You can walk among beautiful old growth giant … Douglas fir trees.
This route will also take you to the rugged west coast and world renowned; π Pacific Rim National Park π
and the communities of; Tofino & Ucluelet, BC.
As you can see , thereβs so many beautiful attractions and destinations to visit, on Central Vancouver Island.

π§ Construction is now complete on the new exciting 2.3 kilometer; {Multi-Use Trail Project} located at Englishman River Falls Provincial Park.
Through a formal partnership agreement these new sections of trail, have been handed over, to the; π΅ Arrowsmith Cycling Club (ACC) to maintain.
