It’s hard not to be mesmerized by the sound and the site of these cascading falls, dropping over 1000 feet from the top. As the snow begins to melt from the πŸ” mountain peaks in springtime, the water roars as it makes its way to the bottom.

The park offers well maintained hiking trails and steps leading to the Falls viewing platforms. Within steps from the parking lot and picnic area, access is easy for most everyone.

Shannon Falls is easy to find and is located just south of Squamish, directly off the main highway corridor. Be sure to make a point of stopping here, and I also highly recommend taking the time to discover what this beautiful part of the Province really has to offer.

Do take some and get off the highway and head into the downtown core and check out the many excellent local shops, cafes and more, of what this city offers. There are so many other excellent local businesses and eateries to discover, other than typical fast food restaurants.

Instead of opting for unhealthy πŸ” fast food next to the β›½ gas station, take a few extra minutes and help support local small business. πŸ™‚
