Travel Memories Photograph From Baja Mexico

This edition of {Gr8 Travel Tips Travel Memories Photograph} is a 🍁 Canadian Flag taken while on our wonderful 🏜 Baja Mexico Camping Adventure.

Our group stopped for the night to 🏕 camp at; Bahia de Los Angeles in Baja Mexico. This was a picturesque beachfront rustic campground we stayed at on Week 4, of our 28 day journey down the Baja.

The Flag was a bit tattered, but as our group were mostly from Canada, we thought it was pretty cool to see where someone had placed it in the campground at one time. 🙂

Bahia de Los Angeles Bay Baja Mexico

Bahía de los Ángeles, also known as the “Bay of the Angels” is a picturesque Bay on the Gulf of California. It’s located on the eastern shore of the 🏜 Baja California Peninsula, on the Sea of Cortez.

Bahia de los Angeles is located about 400 miles south of the California/Mexico border crossing at San Diego. Today, it’s just a small 🎣 fishing village with only around 800 locals. This Bay is very popular for marine scientists and fishermen alike.

This Bay is well known for its immense diversity of 🐟 marine life and for researchers from afar, that travel here to study the active marine life.

The town and area rely primarily on tourism and fishing for their livelihood. There are also a number of ☃ Snowbirds that do have residences in the area. These folks help support the local economy greatly!.

Sadly though, there have been a couple of most unfortunate violent tragic incidents in past years, which has hurt the town’s tourism. They were random acts of violence, which were completely out of character for this region.

Visitors should exercise caution regardless, when visiting. That goes pretty much for every new destination you may travel to around the world.

There are 🏝 16 islands located in the Bay, with many beautiful hidden beaches to discover. Fishing and Kayaking draw locals and visitors to this part of the Baja annually.

There’s a quaint tiny museum located in town that should not be missed!
