I certainly recommend and believe this is one of the Palm Springs attractions that you simple must take in when visiting this special area of California. It was our first visit here and I happened to come across one of the attractions colorful brochures located in one of the tourist centers we stopped at on our way to Phoenix, Arizona.
I was surprised by the size of the tram, the unique revolving cars and the elevation it takes you to.

I was sold and we simply had to go! It was recommended that we attend about an hour before sunset, where we can ascend the mountain in the daytime, enjoy the beautiful sunset and changing colors at the top of the mountain and then make our way down in darkness, enjoying the lights of the City and surrounding area.
It worked out just perfect!
Attending in early November, was also a perfect time of year to take in the attraction. October and November is an excellent time of year to visit the area and tram, keeping just ahead of the winter rush arriving for Christmas and in January.
